Nadia Zeissig she/her

Nadia Zeissig is a research associate at the Urban Complexity Lab (UCLAB) with a background in information and interaction design. Currently her research is focused on the development of explorative interfaces that enable seamless transitions between narration and user guided exploration to facilitate the communication of complex information.

She completed her master's degree in communication design at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK Berlin) and as part of this enrolled in the Visual Society Programme - a cooperation between the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB)  and the UdK Berlin. In her thesis, she worked together with social scientists and investigated how social science findings and especially, the research processes can be communicated through digital storytelling formats in order to create traceability and new access to socially relevant topics.

Before joining the ᴜᴄʟᴀʙ, she worked at the Interdisciplinary Laboratory »Image Knowledge Gestaltung« at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin exploring the structures of interdisciplinary cooperation and as a freelance information designer.
