Community Creativity for Development (CC4D)

Mathew Lubari is a passionate advocate for digital literacy, repair activism, and sustainability. As the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Community Creativity for Development (CC4D), an organization operating in Rhino Camp, Uganda, and Yei, South Sudan, Mathew dedicates his efforts to empowering marginalized youth through digital skills training, and repair services.

He is a Cohort 2 Fellow with the Migration and Technology Monitor (MTM), where he explores the intersection of technology and repair. As a 2023 Maintainers Movement Fellow, Movement Builder, and a Steering Committee member of The Maintainers, Mathew is committed to promoting a culture of repair & reuse.

Mathew’s leadership has earned him opportunities to share his insights globally, including as a featured speaker at #Fixfest2022 in Brussels.

Through his work with CC4D and its affiliation with #ASKnet and the Global Innovation Gathering (GIG) network, Mathew continues to inspire and implement sustainable change. He is committed to fostering a culture of repair, self-reliance, resilience, and sustainable development particularly in fragile and conflict-affected communities.
